Project Linus Update

I didn't finish the quilt I displayed yesterday in time for this month's Project Linus meeting, but I do plan to have it ready to go for October's meeting.

According to the Lubbock, TX chapter president, the chapter delivered 130 blankets in September 2009, which makes a total of 2,939 blankets that the Lubbock chapter has given to sick, neglected or abused children. I'm so excited to get involved with this chapter!

Project Linus is nation-wide. As of March 31, 2009, the organization had delivered 3,005,973 hand-made blankets to kids in need and had 405 chapters. You can check their website for one near you.
